\"\"<\/a>Half of Spain loves the show, the other half hates it. The best-known and at the same time most controversial program on Spanish television, S\u00e1lvame, is coming to an end. Television channel Telecinco, which has been broadcasting the program for 14 years, is ending ‘telebasura’, garbage TV, the name for the genre of which S\u00e1lvame is the flagship. In S\u00e1lvame there is shouting, cursing and crying. Sometimes someone walks out of the studio in a rage, sometimes a verbal fight is settled physically. S\u00e1lvame has defined the image of Spanish television since 2009. Over the years, S\u00e1lvame got all kinds of spin-offs, S\u00e1lvame Lim\u00f3n, sour and sharp like a lime, S\u00e1lvame Naranja, slightly softer and sweeter, like an orange (naranje in Spanish). Friday is the evening of S\u00e1lvame DeLuxe. Then all registers open between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. The program can also be seen on Friday between 4 and 8 p.m. Anyone who wants can immerse themselves for eight hours every Friday in cursing and screaming well-known compatriots. Recently Telecinco has a new management. He thinks the program’s market shares, which have fallen to between 10 and 15 percent over time, are too low. The new bosses of the channel have drawn up a code of ethics for the first time. The endless garbage TV broadcasts do not comply with the code of ethics in any way.
