Hoteliers ask prime minister Valencia to revive travel industry
Written by Costa Blanca Radio on 3 March 2021
Hoteliers have made several proposals to revive the travel industry during a meeting with the Prime Minister of Valencia. Among other things, calls were made to abolish the closure of the Valencia region if the Corona figures continue to decline in the next two weeks, in line with the current Covid development in Spain. As a first step, tourists should be admitted who can make a reservation in a hotel or other establishments with a 24-hour reception. Should this first wave of travel occur without rising Corona numbers, holiday home owners from other Spanish regions could also come from the end of April, the hoteliers said.
