Javea has received a total of 303 requests for emergency aid for sectors most affected by the corona pandemic. The majority of requests come from freelancers and small businesses in the restaurant industry. The subsidies, of at least 2,000 euros plus 200 euros per employee, have a total value of 1.5 million euros. In parallel with the processing of the grants, the Javea Municipal Council is working on administrative matters to draft a general regulatory regulation for each line of municipal measures raised through the grant activity. The main goal is to give more flexibility to administrative procedures.
