Only 58 couples have married in Javea in 2020

Only 58 couples have married in Javea in 2020, compared to 120 in 2019. The drop was attributed to Covid travel restrictions, as couples from as far away as Valencia, Madrid and Bilbao often choose to get married in Javea due to their Instagram- worthy backgrounds for their wedding photos. Also wedding news from Elche, there, in the 25 years since the first civil marriages were held in the town hall of Elche, 3,359 couples have been married.
