The first phase of the renovation, adaptation and reform program for the museums of Denia to bring them into line with the new regional regulations has been presented by Mayor Vicent Grimalt; councilor for culture, Raúl García de la Reina; and the head of the city’s archeology department, Massu Sentí.
The regional department of culture had warned the municipality that the current facilities were not up to standard and that the museums should be fully accessible to the public.

Two paddleboarders have been rescued by the Coast Guard after being pushed into the sea by wind and currents. The women, aged 52 and 58, were located about 3.7 km from Torrevieja, according to local police.

TM Real Estate Group from Torrevieja has once again set its sights on Benidorm to continue its real estate expansion. Benidorm News reports this. The company has acquired a plot of land in the Vía Parque area, in the IES Mediterrània district: between the residential areas of Las Terrazas and Jardín de Benidorm. According to the company, it will be a 25-storey tower with two parking basements. It will have 108 homes with 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms, as well as three solarium penthouses. It will have common areas, gardens, adult swimming pool, children’s pool, two jacuzzis, gym, paddle tennis court, multi-sport and children’s area.
