Supermarket chain Mercadona again distributes part of the profit among employees

Supermarket chain Mercadona has, as every year, divided part of the profit among the staff. Mercadona has made 409 million euros of the profits from the corona year 2020 available to distribute among more than 90,000 employees. Mercadona states in its own press release on the website that they have already distributed more than 4.2 billion euros in profit among the staff over the past 20 years. That system of profit-sharing with employees was introduced in 2021 exactly 20 years ago in 2001.
