Work started on installation of the largest fish farm in the Valencian Community

At Campellois, work started on the installation of the largest fish farm in the Valencian Community. The Valencia region already farms more fish than any other Spanish region, much of which is in the province of Alicante. Total production will increase by 50 percent once the fish farm for Cala Lanuza and Lloma de Reixes is operational. The nursery will produce 5,000 tons of bream, sea bass and sea bass annually. The complex will cover 144 hectares, equivalent to 200 football fields, more than 6 kilometers from the coast.
