Alicante Guardia Civil seizes caiman

A caiman measuring 1.6 metres in length has been seized by Alicante Guardia Civil. The website costa news reports that the sharp-toothed predator which hails from Latin America was being kept at a private villa in Sax. The alligator was put up for sale on social media. The alligator, who appeared to be in reasonable health despite being kept in unsuitable conditions, was transferred to the Rio Safari Zoo in Elche.
