German airlines resume holiday flights to Alicante
Written by Costa Blanca Radio on 18 March 2021
German airlines have responded to the lifting of Germany’s travel warning for the Costa Blanca and will start offering flights from Germany to Alicante again from the Easter holidays. Ryanair flies, among others, from Cologne-Bonn, Frankfurt, Berlin, Hamburg, Nuremberg, Bremen, Baden Baden and Düsseldorf, initially once a week per airport. Many Dutch people also fly to Alicante from Düsseldorf in particular. In addition to Ryanair, Lufthansa and its low-cost subsidiary Eurowings also want to offer more flights to Alicante from 28 March. A corona test is still required for the outward flight to Spain. Germany is still one of the corona risk areas in Spain.
