Teulada-Moraira suspends municipal tax on the occupation of public spaces

Teulada-Moraira is going to work on a promise made by the municipality in December last year. Then all parties in the city council voted to suspend the municipal tax on the occupation of public spaces. This measure is now in effect for 2021, as City Hall once again waives the tax, usually paid by local shops for displaying wares on sidewalks, and by the hospitality industry, with patio tables occupying the public space. The aim is to alleviate the economic consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic. By renouncing the tax, the town hall will lose 200,000 euros in income.
