Wine experts: “traditional vineyards in Alicante province under threat from solar energy”

Wine experts believe that traditional vineyards in the province of Alicante are under threat from solar energy. The reason is that a lot of space, which is now used as a vineyard, will be used as a solar park in the future. According to concerned wine experts, the number of landowners submitting applications to install solar parks has increased. This is especially the case in the Vinalopó Valley, the experts said.
