A new road to connect urbanizations in Orihuela Costa will cut through the garden of a house in the area, according to plans published by the town hall.

This would connect the road running out of PAU-8 and across the highway from Los Almendros to the start of Calle Ontario, behind the new Amenecer apartment blocks being built.

The promotion company “Benissa Natura” wants to go to court after the building commission of Benissa refused permission to build a hotel and 9 chalets on the cliffs between Pinets and Llobella. According to the Internet newspaper Marina Plaza, their intention is to bring Benissa up to the level of tourist destinations such as Mallorca, Málaga or Greece, to create 400 jobs and to generate more than 13 million euros per year in city rights.—

The renovation of the El Pla Park in Alfaz del Pi is nearing completion. The end of the work is planned for the end of December. The park, which is centrally located in Alfaz del Pi, is no less than 2324 square meters in size. Initially, work was supposed to start last March, but weak municipal finances delayed the project. The company Nerco Infrastructures SL, which has been tasked with improving the park, started the job in September. Almost 10,000 euros was also spent on the purchase of street furniture. Furniture, games and other play equipment have been purchased for the little ones.


The Climate Change Law of the Government of Valencia is published in the Regional Official Bulletin (DOGV), codifying the legislation in the law books. The 78-page document is designed to be the “key tool for addressing the current and future challenges of the climate crisis.”
